Game Basics

Gonzo's Quest™ is a 5-reel, 3-row digital slot that includes the Avalanche™ and Free Falls features.

The game is played with different bet values and 20 (fixed) bet lines. Bet lines pay out in succession from the leftmost reel to the rightmost reel, with no gaps. Simultaneous wins on different bet lines are added together, and only the highest win per bet line is paid out.

A bet line win is equal to the value shown in the Paytable. The payout values for the symbols shown in the Paytable are dynamic and change depending on the selected bet value.

Avalanche™ Function

All wins trigger an Avalanche™. The symbols in winning combinations disappear, and the remaining symbols move down to fill the empty positions. When all positions have been filled, the wins are recalculated. Avalanches continue until there are no more wins.

The prize multiplier bar located in the top right corner of the reels increases by 1 with each Avalanche™ in the main game and by 3 with each Free Falls win until it reaches the maximum. The maximum multiplier is 5x in the main game and 15x in Free Falls.

When there are no more Avalanches, the multiplier resets to its initial number: x1 in the main game and x3 in Free Falls.

Wild Symbols

Wild symbols appear on reels 2, 3 and 4.

Wild symbols substitute for all symbols. Wild symbol substitutions pay the highest possible winning combination on a bet line according to the paytable.

Free falls

If 3 Free Falls symbols appear in a row on reels 1, 2, and 3, starting with the leftmost reel, 10 Free Falls are triggered. If 3 Free Falls symbols appear during Free Falls, 10 additional Free Falls are triggered.

Free Falls are played with the same bet as the round that triggered the Free Falls. At the end of the Free Falls, the total prize won in the Free Falls is added to the prizes won in the round in which the Free Falls were triggered, and the player returns to the round that triggered the Free Falls.

Payment mechanics

The game has 20 fixed bet lines.

Bet lines pay if they appear in succession from the leftmost reel to the rightmost reel, with no gaps. The winning possibilities are clearly shown in the illustrations above. Only the highest payout per bet line is paid.

Return to player

The theoretical return to player of the game is 95.97%.

Betting

To play, you must have sufficient funds to cover the bet. You can see your current balance on the screen.

To start playing, first select your bet value. Click or tap the “+” or “-” to increase or decrease your bet, or tap the bet value in the center and select a bet value from the drop-down list. Please note that the selected bet will apply to all spins. If your balance is insufficient to play, the bet will be automatically reduced to the highest available bet value.

Once you've chosen your bet, click or tap the SPIN button to start playing.

THROW

The indicator on the PULL button shows how much time is left until you can pull again.

Autoplay

Autoplay allows you to repeat the selected bet for a specified number of game rounds.

To start AutoPlay, choose your desired bet value and click or tap the AutoPlay button.

In the Autoplay panel, you can start Autoplay by selecting the number of rounds you want to repeat your bet.

The selected number of AutoPlay rounds will be displayed on the AutoPlay button. The number of AutoPlay rounds remaining will be updated when AutoPlay begins.

Your total AutoPlay bet amount is calculated by multiplying the number of AutoPlay rounds by your bet value. It is indicated below each AutoPlay option. The remaining AutoPlay bet amount will also be displayed below the chosen AutoPlay option once AutoPlay has started.

Autoplay rounds will continue until the chosen number of rounds has been reached or the user stops Autoplay by clicking or tapping STOP, or the Free Spins round is triggered.

STALL

Once AutoPlay is paused, you can restart it with the previously selected bet and number of rounds by clicking or tapping REPEAT.

REPEAT

When Autoplay is activated, bets cannot be changed. The player must stop Autoplay to change bets.

Unfinished game rounds

Unfinished game rounds are automatically resolved after a period of inactivity.

In the event of a gaming hardware/software malfunction, all affected gaming bets will be voided and refunded.

Game number

Each game is identified by a unique GAME NUMBER.

This number reflects the match start time in hours:minutes:seconds (in GMT). Use this numerical code as a reference (or take a screenshot) if you wish to contact our Customer Service Department.

Shortcut keys

Hotkeys allow you to quickly perform useful game functions.

KEY FUNCTION
ESC

The ESC key can be used to:

  • Exit full screen mode.
  • Close an open pop-up window (Game History, How to Play, Settings, etc.)
SPACEBAR

The SPACEBAR key can be used to:

  • Start a roll (if the “Spacebar to roll/stop roll” option is enabled).
  • Skip some animations and, if possible, end the game round early.
