Rules of the game

Mine Defender is a 5-reel, 6-row slot with falling symbols, scatter wins, and Hero drops featuring a showdown between Hero and enemies as they try to defeat each other.

A winning combination consists of at least 7 identical symbols scattered across the board. Only the highest number of such identical symbols pays.

A game round starts at the selected bet level when the player presses the Spin button.

If Auto Spin is enabled, you can play automatically. Press and hold the Spin button or use the Auto Spin button to set the number of game rounds to be played automatically.

Winnings and winning combinations are paid according to the paytable.

There are two game modes: normal mode and bonus mode. Wild symbols substitute for any paying symbol.

Wild symbols substitute for any paying symbol. A winning combination consisting only of Wild symbols pays as the highest-paying symbol.

A game round begins with new symbols falling onto the board, a reset of the global multiplier, 1 life for Hero and 1 shot.

Symbols fall onto the board, feature symbols are collected, and new symbols are used and replaced. Wins are evaluated, payouts are made, and winning symbols are removed. The remaining symbols on the board fall due to the effect of gravity, and empty positions are filled with new symbols falling from above. The cycle repeats as long as the player keeps winning.

As symbols fall, enemies will randomly enter the board. This triggers Hero Drops, in which Hero and his enemies attempt to defeat each other.

During Hero Drops, Hero shoots enemies. Defeated enemies are replaced by feature or paying symbols before the win evaluation occurs. After a win evaluation, enemies in the bottom row will attack Hero. Other enemies will move one position closer to the bottom of the screen, unless blocked. If there is no win, all paying symbols are removed and new symbols drop.

A Life symbol adds 1 life to Hero, up to a maximum of 3.

A Shot symbol increases the number of shots Hero can take in each shooting round. The maximum number of shots is 3.

A Spread symbol allows Hero to fire 3 projectiles for each shot he takes during shooting rounds.

A bonus symbol is collected to activate the bonus game.

A coin symbol pays an instant win of the value shown multiplied by the bet and the overall multiplier.

A multiplier symbol is added to the overall multiplier. The first multiplier symbol collected sets the overall multiplier to the value of the collected symbol. All winning combinations and instant coin wins are multiplied by this value.

A Mystery symbol causes an enemy, feature, or Wild symbol to appear.

Enemies can appear anywhere on the board. They have 1, 2, or 3 lives. Enemies move 1 row closer to Hero during each cycle, provided there is an empty position they can move to.

Enemies hit by a Hero shot lose 1 life, those that run out of lives will be defeated.

Enemies in the bottom row will attack Hero and be destroyed, or conversely, they may miss and destroy themselves and other enemies or Mini Bosses in the same row.

A paying feature or symbol substitutes for a defeated or destroyed enemy.

When an enemy attacks Hero, he loses 1 life. If Hero has no lives left, he will be defeated and the game will end.

Hero fires at enemies in the row closest to him. The Spread symbol allows Hero to fire three projectiles at once. The direction of the projectiles can vary, and they won't always hit an enemy.

The Back function moves all enemies one position away. If there is a symbol behind the enemy, the symbol and the enemy will swap positions. If the enemy is knocked off the board, it will be defeated. A Mini Boss or Final Boss will survive and re-enter the board, when possible.

The Laser function fires a beam that defeats all enemies in a column. If the Laser hits a Mini Boss or Final Boss, they will lose 3 lives.

The Bombardment function hits 1-6 enemies and they are defeated. A Mini Boss or Final Boss loses 3 lives with each Bombardment hit.

The Bomb function defeats all enemies on the board and causes any Mini Boss or Final Boss to lose 3 lives.

Mini Bosses can appear randomly on the board as 2x2 enemies with 10 lives and a Trophy coin.

Defeating a Mini Boss removes it from the board and pays its Trophy Coin multiplied by the global multiplier.

A Mini Boss isn't destroyed after attacking Hero. It'll be ready to attack again in the next cycle.

The Mini Boss can only appear in normal mode. Collecting 3 bonus symbols triggers the bonus game.

All multipliers, shots, and spreads collected during normal play are retained when entering the bonus game. Hero's health is set to 3.

The bonus game is played on a circular board with 10 radial rows and 5 concentric rows, with Hero in the center. Horizontally (left and right), the number of rows is 4. Each symbol moves along a radius from the outer row to the inner row of the circle. Enemies attack Hero from the inner row, just as they do from the bottom row in normal mode.

The bonus game ends when Hero is defeated or when Final Boss mode is activated.

The Laser feature in the bonus game fires the laser beam in two opposite radii, in both directions.

The Final Boss confrontation is triggered by defeating 50 enemies in total, including Mini Boss, which can occur in normal mode or in bonus mode.

The Final Boss fight is played on a 5x6 board with only enemies, coins, and multipliers. A large 3x3 Final Boss will appear with 50 lives and a Trophy Coin.

The Final Boss isn't destroyed after attacking. It'll be ready to attack again in the next cycle.

The confrontation with the Final Boss lasts until the Final Boss or Hero is defeated and the game ends.

Defeating the Final Boss pays out its Trophy Coin multiplied by the global multiplier.

Winnings will be paid at the conclusion of a game round.

The maximum total win in a game round is limited to 10,000 times the bet placed.

A game round will end immediately when the win limit is reached; any winnings accumulated up to that point will then be paid out.

Bets cannot be changed during a game round. The game has a limit of 10,000 times the bet placed.

The theoretical payout (RTP) is 94.0%.

If a malfunction occurs, all bets and prizes are void.
