Frogblox

Game rules

Frogblox is a 6 column, 6 rows slot with dropping symbols.

All drops in normal mode start with 6 rows and a varying number of ways to win. The number of ways to win depends on the number and placement of blocker symbols on the main grid.

The minimum bet is € 0.20, and the maximum bet is € 100.00. Each bet is 100 coins.

A game round starts on the selected bet level when the player hits the spin button.

The game can be played automatically by activating Auto Spin. Hold down the spin button or use the Auto Spin button to set the number of game rounds to be played automatically.

Winnings and winning combinations are paid out according to the paytable.

Winnings are presented in the player's currency or in coins. The player can change preference in Settings.

Winnings are presented in the player's currency.

Frogblox is played in two modes; normal mode and bonus mode with free drops.

Wins begin with the first leftmost column and only pay from left to right on consecutive columns. No gaps between the columns are allowed.

Only the longest payline per active payline is paid out.

All low, high, kicker and wild symbols exist in two sizes; standard 1x1 and big 2x2. All big symbols are counted as consisting of the number of 1x1 symbol instances it covers, e.g. A big 2x2 is counted as 4 standard 1x1 symbols. Big symbols can only be created by the feature shelf.

The wild symbol substitutes for any symbol on the main grid except the frog and lily pad symbols.

Above the main grid is a 6 column x 2 rows grid referred to as the feature shelf.

The feature shelf can contain symbol multipliers, global multipliers, extra drops, both ways, big, bomb, frog and blocker symbols.

All wins in the current symbol drop are collected and thereafter all symbols which are part of a winning combination explode. Adjacent blocker symbols are also exploded and removed. The remaining symbols fall vertically until they reach a resting position, and new symbols drop in to fill the empty spaces. The Avalanche feature continues as long as new winning combinations appear.

A frog symbol in the main grid only interacts with the symbol on the bottom row of the feature shelf in the same column as the frog. The interaction happens prior to the win evaluation. Some of the feature symbols are activated up in the feature shelf, and some are pulled down by the frog. Frogs on the main grid may interact in any order.

A blocker symbol is activated by the frog up in the feature shelf. It explodes and causes an avalanche within that column, and a new symbol drops in to fill the empty space. The frog remains or can jump to a lily pad.

A bomb symbol is activated by the frog up in the feature shelf. It removes all blocker symbols from the feature shelf and causes avalanches in all affected columns, and new symbols drop in to fill the empty spaces. The frog remains or can jump to a lily pad.

The frog pulls down a symbol multiplier from the feature shelf. The multiplier is inpidually applied to each payout and wild symbol along the frog’s column. The removed symbol multiplier causes an avalanche in the affected column, and a new symbol drops in to fill the empty space.

The frog remains or turns into a wild symbol.

Symbol multipliers are additive in case more than one is applicable for the same symbol.

The frog pulls down a global multiplier from the feature shelf. The multiplier is applied to all wins, and remains in play for the remaining game round. The removed global multiplier causes an avalanche in the affected column, and a new symbol drops in to fill the empty space. The frog remains or turns into a wild symbol.

Global multipliers are additive in case more than one is pulled down by a frog.

The frog pulls down extra drops from the feature shelf. The extra drops come into play when the avalanche cycle has ended and there are no more wins. The removed extra drops symbol causes an avalanche in the affected column, and a new symbol drops in to fill the empty space. The frog remains or turns into a wild symbol.

The feature shelf is persistent during the extra drops.

The frog pulls down Both Ways from the feature shelf. The Both Ways feature stays active until there is a win from right to left. The removed Both Ways symbol causes an avalanche in the affected column, and a new symbol drops in to fill the empty space. The frog remains or turns into a wild symbol.

The frog pulls down a big symbol from the feature shelf. It generates a big 2x2 payout or wild symbol covering the frog’s position. A frog can only pull down one big symbol per win evaluation. The removed big symbol causes an avalanche in the affected columns, and new symbols drop in to fill the empty spaces. The frog is crushed by the big symbol.

A big symbol landing on an existing big symbol will break the existing big symbol into smaller 1x1 symbols.

The frog on the main grid can activate a frog on the feature shelf. The frog on the feature shelf interacts with all feature shelf symbols except blockers, bombs and other frogs. The activated frog on the feature shelf is pulled down by the frog on the main grid which causes an avalanche in the affected columns, and new symbols drop in to fill the empty spaces.

The frog on the main grid remains or turns into a wild symbol.

A frog on the main grid may interact with another frog higher up in the same column on the main grid. The frog highest up in the column interacts with all feature shelf symbols except blockers, bombs and other frogs. Then that frog is pulled down by the frog further down which in turn either remains as a frog or turns into a wild.

A frog can move to a lily pad symbol elsewhere on the main grid, and reactivate from the new position. The frog’s old symbol position either turns into a lily pad, wild, payout or into a new frog symbol.

Removing all blocker symbols from the main grid in normal mode triggers the bonus mode with free drops. 6 free drops are awarded.

The bonus game is pending until there are no more wins. The current active global multiplier and remaining extra drops are kept from the base game and brought into the bonus game. The awarded free drops are added to the extra drops inventory.

The feature shelf is emptied and refilled at the start of the bonus game. It is then persistent throughout the bonus game.

A collected Both Ways feature stays persistent through free drops until used.

Removing all blocker symbols from the main grid during bonus mode awards 6 additional free drops.

The free drops bonus game ends when no free drops remain or when the win cap has been reached.

Winnings are paid out at the end of the bonus mode.

No bets can be changed during an ongoing game round.

A game round is immediately ended when the win cap is reached, and the wins collected so far will be paid out.

The theoretical payout (RTP) in Frogblox is 94.0%. The game will be capped at 25 000x the placed bet. In the event of malfunction all bets and wins are void.
