Gonzo's Quest II: Return to El Dorado
Basic concepts of the game
Gonzo's Quest™ II: Return to El Dorado is a 6-reel, 4-row digital slot machine featuring Expanding Reels, Avalanche™ feature, Random Wilds feature, multipliers, Free Spins and Super Free Spins.
The game includes up to 262,144 bet shapes and different bet values. If the symbols match in any position on three or more adjacent reels, from the leftmost reel to the rightmost reel, without gaps, a bet shape prize is awarded. More bet shape prizes are created when multiple instances of the symbol appear on the same reels that created the longest bet shape prize. Only the longest combination per symbol is paid. Simultaneous bet shape prizes are added together.
A bet form is equal to the value shown in the Paytable multiplied by any applicable multiplier. The payout values of the symbols shown in the Paytable are dynamic and change depending on the selected bet value.
Example of calculation and betting methods
The longest winning combination of blue dog symbols consists of 7 symbols on reels 1–4. The number of winning bet combinations is calculated by multiplying the number of blue dog symbols on each of these reels: 2 x 1 x 3 x 1 = 6 winning bet combinations.
Avalanche™ Function
If a prize appears on the reels, an Avalanche™ begins. The symbols in winning combinations disappear, making way for a new Avalanche of symbols. Avalanches continue until there are no more prizes on the reels.
In the main game, each Avalanche increases the global multiplier next to the reels by 1. The multiplier starts at x1 and can go up to x5. When there are no more Avalanches in the main game and the total prize has been calculated, the multiplier resets to x1.
Expanding Reels function
Each spin of the game begins with a 6-reel, 4-row play area. A winning combination triggers the Expanding Reels feature, where each Avalanche adds an extra row to the top of the play area, up to a maximum of 4 additional rows.
In the main game, the Expanding Reels feature ends when there are no more Avalanches, and the play area returns to its initial configuration of 6 reels and 4 rows at the start of the next spin.
Wild Symbols
Two types of Wild symbols can appear on the reels: the normal Wild and the Calamity Wild.
Wild
Calamity Wild
For each bet shape prize that begins with a Wild symbol combination, the bet shape payout is determined by the higher of either a Wild symbol combination or a winning symbol combination. If the payouts are equal, the prize is paid as a normal winning combination. If the Wild symbol payout is higher, the prize is paid as the Wild symbol combination.
Bets consisting solely of Wild symbols are paid only if the winning combination of Wild symbols consists of 6 symbols from the leftmost reel to the rightmost reel.
Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except Scatter and Calamity Wild symbols. Wild symbol substitutions pay out the highest possible winning combination according to the paytable.
Random Wilds function
The Random Wilds feature is triggered when a Calamity Wild symbol appears on the reels as part of a winning combination. Before the play area expands and the next Avalanche occurs, the Calamity Wild symbol randomly places between 3 and 6 regular Wild symbols on the reels.
Each Wild symbol that appears on the reels during the Random Wilds feature will fill an empty position or be placed on top of another symbol already on the reels. Wild symbols cannot be placed on top of a Scatter, Wild, or Calamity Wild symbol that has not triggered the Random Wilds feature.
Colossal Symbols
Scatter and high-paying symbols (except Wild and Calamity Wild symbols) may appear on the reels in the form of colossal 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4 symbols.
Colossal 2x2 Scatters count as 2 normal Scatters, Colossal 3x3 Scatters count as 3 normal Scatters, and Colossal 4x4 Scatters count as 4 normal Scatters.
During the Random Wilds feature, the high-paying colossal symbols on the reels can transform into colossal Wilds. Up to two colossal symbols can transform into colossal Wilds on each spin.
When calculating prizes, the Colossal High Paying Symbols and Colossal Wilds count as High Paying/Wild symbols as follows:

Free Spins
In the main game, if 3, 4, 5 or 6 Scatter symbols appear on the reels consecutively from the leftmost reel, without spaces, 10, 12, 15 or 20 Free Spins or Super Free Spins are activated, after all prizes have been calculated.
The enlarged reels and increased multipliers obtained in the main game do not carry over to Free Spins or Super Free Spins.
The Free Spins and Super Free Spins play area increases with each Avalanche, and the new rows obtained carry over to the next spin until reaching the maximum height of 8 rows.
Free Spins Moderator
If 3 or more normal-sized (1x1) Scatter symbols appear on the reels during the main game, Free Spins are activated.
The initial value of the global multiplier is x2 and increases by 2 with each Avalanche. When all Avalanches have occurred, the multiplier resets to x2 at the start of the next roll.
If 3 or more Scatter symbols appear consecutively on the reels, starting with the leftmost reel and without spaces, during Free Spins, you get the same number of additional Free Spins or Super Free Spins.
Modo Super Free Spins
The Super Free Spins mode is activated when at least one of the Scatter symbols that triggers Free Spins is a colossal Scatter symbol.
The initial value of the global multiplier, as well as the value by which it increases, depends on the size of the colossal Scatter symbol that triggered the Super Free Spins, according to the table below.

The multiplier value obtained in one roll is transferred to the next roll and has no limit.
Free Spins Improvement
During Free Spins mode, if Free Spins is triggered again and at least one symbol is a Colossal Scatter, the Free Spins are upgraded to Super Free Spins. The upgrade takes place at the start of the next spin.
The number of Super Free Spins obtained in this upgrade is equal to the number of Scatter symbols that triggered the Super Free Spins, and is added to the number of Free Spins remaining on the counter before the upgrade.
The current multiplier value of the Free Spins is transferred to the Super Free Spins. If this multiplier value is lower than the initial value of the activated Super Free Spins, the multiplier value will be updated accordingly.
Free Spins and Super Free Spins are played with the same bet as the round that triggered them, and they end when the Free Spins counter reaches 0. At the end of the Free Spins or Super Free Spins, the total prize from the Free Spins or Super Free Spins is added to the prizes of the round that triggered them, and the game returns to the round that triggered them.
Payment Mechanics
The game can be played with up to 262144 ways to bet.
If matching symbols appear in any position on three or more adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel to the rightmost reel, without spaces, you win a prize in the form of a bet. Only the longest winning combination of matching symbols is paid out.

Return to player
The theoretical return to the player of the game is 94.15%.
Bets
To play, you need to have enough funds to cover the bet. You can see your current BALANCE on the screen.
To start playing, first select your bet amount. Click or tap "+" or "-" to increase or decrease your bet, or tap the bet amount in the center and select it from the drop-down list. Keep in mind that your selected bet will apply to all spins. If your balance is insufficient, your bet will automatically be reduced to the highest available bet amount.
Once you've chosen your bet, click or tap the SPIN button to start playing.
The PULL button indicator shows how much time is left until you can pull again.
Automatic game
The Automatic Game allows you to repeat the selected bet for a specified number of game rounds.
To start Auto Play, choose your desired bet value and click or tap the Auto Play button.
In the Auto Play panel, you can start Auto Play by selecting the number of rounds in which you want to repeat your bet.
The selected number of Auto Play rounds will be displayed on the Auto Play button. The number of remaining Auto Play rounds will update when Auto Play begins.

Your total Auto Play stake is calculated by multiplying the number of Auto Play rounds by your stake. This is shown below each Auto Play option. The remaining Auto Play stake will also be displayed below your chosen Auto Play option once it has started.
Auto Play rounds will continue until the chosen number of rounds has been reached, or the user stops Auto Play by clicking or tapping STOP, or the Free Spins round is activated.
TO STOP
When the Auto Game is stopped, you can restart it with the previously selected bet and number of rounds by clicking or tapping on REPEAT.
REPEAT
When Auto Play is activated, it is not possible to change bets. The player must stop Auto Play to change bets.
Language
You can change the game language in the settings. The jurisdiction's language will be applied if the game translations don't match.

Unfinished game rounds
Unfinished game rounds are resolved automatically after a period of inactivity.
