Don Premiote
1. INTRODUCTION
The specifications are given for the desktop version of the game, for additional information on button layout and functions of the mobile version, see section 4.2 Mobile Interface.
This is a single-player arcade machine that, through the purchase price, provides a period of use and enjoyment, and also, occasionally, cash prizes.
The cost of the game is €0.20 by default. Bets are configurable by the operator (they can disable bets if they deem appropriate). Possible bets are €0.20, €1, €5, €10, and €15.
The game consists of two games: the lower game is the main game and the upper game is the secondary game. To play both games, you need a balance, and for the upper game, you also need bonuses. These can be obtained in both the main game and the upper game, as we'll see later.
The image above shows the layout of the game screen, with the buttons at the bottom of the screen, current time indicator, AUTO-PLAY and AUTO-RISK buttons, the main game reels with the prize line marked in red in the central position, profit plan, progress indicator, PRIZE value indicator, BONUSES, BALANCE and the MESSAGE/RISK GAME marquee.
A special feature of this game is that it includes a character selector, which allows you to choose one of the two characters that appear to play. The selection screen can be seen in the following image.
2. LOWER GAME
This is the basic game of the slot, which plays out on three reels with 16 symbols each, with a prize on the center line, advances, and holds. It can be played whenever the player wishes and has sufficient balance by pressing PLAY.
This machine allows you to select the bet using the BET button at the bottom of the screen or by clicking on the icons for each bet. The possible bets (depending on the operator's settings) are: €0.20, €1, €5, €10, €15.
To start the game, you must have sufficient funds to cover the selected bet and press the PLAY button. As previously mentioned, the main (lower) game of the machine takes place on the lower reels, spinning all of them and stopping on one of the many possible combinations. At the end of the game, the machine will tell the player if they have won a prize.
When selecting a bet, the possible prizes will be highlighted on the screen, lighting up according to the player's choice.
2.1. Auto Play
The player has a mechanism for starting the game automatically called AUTO-PLAY, which simply starts a new game whenever the previous one has ended. Clicking on AUTO-PLAY will open a menu where you can select the number of games you want to run automatically (up to a maximum of 100).
With the indicator light in green (ON) once the game is over, a new one will begin with the current bet as long as the player has sufficient balance to cover it.
The AUTO-PLAY button can be combined with the AUTO-RISK button which is explained in point 2.8.1.
The player always has the option to disable auto-play mode by pressing the AUTO-PLAY button or by pressing PLAY.
2.2. Wildcard
Both the left and right reels feature a WILD symbol that combines with any symbol that can generate a win for the player. Thus, if two lemons appear on two of the three reels and a wild symbol appears on the third reel, the lemon prize will be awarded. Similarly, two wild symbols can win when combined with any other symbol.
The Wild symbol replaces any symbol on the reel whenever it makes a winning combination with the other two, except if a Bonus symbol appears, in which case it always combines with that Bonus symbol. The Wild symbol can be used in combination with another symbol to hold two reels and play a game with those two reels locked, spinning the third to potentially win.
2.3. Types of print runs
In the lower game, the following types of rolls can occur:
Direct Award
When any of the combinations described in the payline plan appear on the center prize line, the player receives a direct prize, either cash or bonuses. The machine indicates the prize amount to the player via the designated indicator (located at the top), along with a flashing of all the lights accompanied by special prize music.
Retention
If as a result of the game the player gets two identical figures on 2 of the 3 reels on the central line, the game program can randomly allow, without changing the bet, that the next game has two of the three reels with the same figure retained and that, therefore, the only one that spins is the third reel (this next game does not entail any additional cost).
The game program can automatically hold the two reels with matching symbols. If the player does not wish to use this option or prefers to hold only one or none of the reels, using the ADVANCE/HOLD buttons located under the reels, the player can unlock or lock any reel (maximum two), thus enabling or disabling its spin in the next game. Likewise, even if all three reels are unlocked, the bet for the next game cannot be changed.
After a game played with two or one reel held, the Advance option may be activated, explained in the next point.
Advances
If the player doesn't win a prize as a result of the game, but the machine detects that with a few more spins of any reel, they could have obtained either a prize or the possibility of retaining two reels due to matching symbols, the Advances function may be randomly activated. If a Bonus prize is obtained and the machine detects that with a few spins, a cash prize could be obtained, the Advances function may also be activated. The machine has a maximum of four advances, which are indicated both audibly and visually by lights on the screen. Each advance corresponds to a positional spin of the selected reel, obtaining the next highest symbol on the prize line.
The player will use the ADVANCE/HOLD buttons to move the reel they see fit. There is also the option to activate AUTO-ADVANCES using the "AUTO" button, which will automatically spin the reels, always resulting in the best option for the player. If the button is lit continuously, this indicates that AUTO-ADVANCES is activated, while if it is flashing, this indicates that AUTO-ADVANCES is not activated.
The result of Advances may not always be a prize on the center line; you may also have the option to retain two of the reels with matching symbols for a second game with more options. The game program, upon detecting that after Advances (either manually or by activating AUTO-ADVANCES) the player obtains two matching symbols on two of the three reels, will automatically retain them on some occasions. It is also possible for Advances to be activated, but the final result may not award a prize.
Nothing
After their spin, the player does not obtain any winning combinations or any other options for advancing or holding. The game is over.
2.4. Vertical lines
Certain reel symbols have a vertical lines symbol associated with them (see the symbol image below). Landing this symbol on any reel will increase the vertical lines counter (up to a maximum of 9).
Vertical lines will be used in the upper game. If vertical lines are used in the upper game, the winning lines will increase from 5 lines to 8 lines.
Each roll of the top game will decrement the counter by one.
As you can see in the game above, there is a figure that can also increase this counter.
2.5. Prize Draw Minigame
The bottom slot features a special prize with the "Scroll" symbol. If the player lands this combination on the center line, they'll enter the Prize Draw Mini Game.
Six structures will appear, each one will light up randomly; only one will be illuminated at a time. The player has the option to pause the game by pressing the PLAY button, stopping at just one of the structures. If the button is not pressed, the game will remain in this state until the player takes action. If the auto-play button is active, the game will automatically pause after a few seconds, displaying a lit structure. The final prize will be the one corresponding to the lit structure. All other prizes will be discarded.
The prize that can be obtained in the mini game is the following according to the bet :
0.20€ (0.40€-100€) / 1€ (2€-1000€) / 5€ (10€-5000€) / 10€ (20€-10000€) / 15€ (20€-15000€)
The Bonuses that can be obtained in the mini game are the following according to the bet :
0.20€ (1-6 Bonds) / 1€ (5-30 Bonds) / 5€ (25-150 Bonds) / 10€ (50-300 Bonds) / 15€ (50-300 Bonds)
2.6. Bond Upswing
1 Voucher ≈ €0.80 (The remainder is rounded randomly).
If one of these prizes is won, the machine will offer the player the chance to risk it in a Bonus-Up game, represented by flashing lights on the lower payout scale. In this game, the player can choose to collect the prize obtained (by pressing the COLLECT button) or risk it (by pressing the PLAY/ACCUMULATE button on the panel). If the player presses COLLECT, the prize will be added to the balance counter. If the player presses PLAY/ACCUMULATE, the machine can award the player the next highest prize in the payout scale, or a number of Bonuses, which will be shown on the display in the upper left corner of the screen under the text "Risk Game/Message."
If the prize corresponding to the 3 Bells symbol is exceeded, the game becomes a See-Saw game, giving the player the option of either the next higher prize on the winning plan or the next lower prize. If the next lower prize is obtained again, the game will return to the See-Saw Bonus mode. If the direct prize is greater than the 3 Bells, it will be automatically collected.
The game will end when the player gets one of the following options:
- COLLECT : If the player decides to collect the prize, the game is over.
- BONUSES : If the player obtains Bonuses as a prize in the game, the prize will be automatically converted into an equivalent amount of Bonuses and the game will end.
- MAXIMUM PRIZE : If the player wins the maximum prize after climbing the profit plan ladder until reaching the maximum, the prize will be automatically awarded and the game will end.
- NOTHING : After their spin, the player does not obtain any winning combinations or any other options for advancing or holding. The game is over.
Cash prizes won in the Prize Draw mini-game will also grant access to this game.
Self-Risk
The player has the option to activate the AUTO-RISK option using the indicator light at the bottom of the screen. Once the button is activated (LED GREEN), all prizes subject to the Up-Bond or Down-Bond game will automatically be risked in the Up-Bond game until the game ends.
2.7. Bonds
Bonuses earned in the lower game can only be spent in the upper game. The way to earn Bonuses is:
- By means of a prize on the central line, either by obtaining one, two or all three Bonus figures on the line
- Risking prizes in the Sube- game
- Through direct prize in the Raffle minigame
3. SUPERIOR GAME
The top game is played on the set of three reels located at the top. To access this game, once you press the GAME CHANGE button, an animation begins, which switches to a new screen where the top game is played. In this case, the game is played on three reels, each with 16 symbols, but with a 5-line payout, and 8 paylines if the vertical line counter is greater than zero.
This game allows for multiple bets, depending on the player's choice and operator settings, provided the player has sufficient balance and bonuses to maintain the bet. The possible bets are:
- 20 € + 1 Bonus , which implies a starting price of 0.20 € plus 1 additional Bonus.
- 1 € + 5 Bonds , which implies a starting price of 1 € plus 5 Bonds
- 5 € + 25 Bonds , which implies a starting price of 5 € plus 25 Bonds
- 10 € + 50 Bonds , which implies a starting price of 10 € plus 50 Bonds
- 15 € + 75 Bonds , which implies a starting price of 15 € plus 75 Bonds
- 15 € + 150 Bonds , which implies a starting price of 15 € plus 150 Bonds
3.1. Auto Play
As in the lower game, the player has a mechanism to start the game automatically called AUTO-PLAY, the purpose of which is simply to start a game whenever the previous one has ended. Clicking on AUTO-PLAY will open a menu where you can select the number of games you want to run automatically (up to a maximum of 100).
With the indicator light in green (ACTIVATED) once the game is over, a new one will begin with the current bet as long as the player has enough balance and Bonuses to cover it.
The AUTO-PLAY button can be combined with the AUTO-RISK button which is explained in point 3.13.1.
The player always has the option to disable auto-play mode by pressing the AUTO-PLAY button or by pressing PLAY.
3.2. Types of print runs
The possible combinations for the upper game are:
Direct Award
The player obtains any winning combination from the payout plan on any of the 5 fixed paylines or 8 paylines (if vertical lines are available). The payout obtained, or the sum of the payouts if a payout is obtained on more than one payline, increases the payout counter located at the top of the screen. An animation and flashing lights indicate to the player the payout line(s) resulting in the payout and the payout amount.
Nothing
The player doesn't get any winning combinations on any of the 5 or 8 lines that make up the top game. The game ends.
3.3. Access to Minigames according to cumulative
Occasionally, after a win involving the Sancho Pasta, Dulcigana, or Premiote symbols, a mini-game will be launched. The mini-game replaces the prize and gives the player the chance to win another prize of equal or greater value.
The minigames available in order are as follows:
- Mill Minigame
- Minigame Paths
- Arsenal Minigame
- Chests Minigame
The player will access one minigame or another depending on the number of stacks they have unlocked. They will only access one of them. The stack counter will be displayed in the top game.
Initially, the player won't have any stacks, so they'll start with the Windmill minigame. In each minigame, stacks will occasionally be awarded, allowing them to unlock the next minigame.
Once the player has collected all the accumulative figures, they will have the option to access the Chests minigame randomly by obtaining a prize line of the Sancho Pasta, Dulcigana, or Premiote figures. Once the Chests minigame is completed, the accumulative counter will reset, and when the player accesses a minigame again, they will start over with the Windmill minigame.
3.4. Mill Minigame
The game consists of a roulette wheel divided into six sections, each represented by a sum in euros. Pressing the PLAY button will start and stop the wheel. The final prize will be the one indicated by the indicator. All other prizes will be discarded. If the button is not pressed, the game will remain in this state until the player takes action. If the auto-play button is activated, the game will spin the wheel automatically after a few seconds.

3.6. Arsenal Minigame
The game consists of a stage with five elements. By clicking on them, the player will reveal prizes. The minigame will end when the "EXIT" label is revealed or all prizes have been revealed. If the button is not pressed, the game will remain in this state until the player takes action. If the auto-play button is activated, the game will automatically select elements after a few seconds.

Sometimes after completing the minigame you can also obtain the cumulative figure that allows you to access the next minigame.
3.7. Chests Minigame
The game will show three chests, each with a prize. For a few moments, the prizes shown will change value (between the three initially displayed), then disappear. The player can choose a chest by clicking directly on one of them. They can also do so using the ADVANCE/HOLD buttons or by pressing the PLAY button. The chosen item will display a prize, which will be the one the player wins; the other two prizes will be discarded.

Once the minigame is finished, the cumulative counter will be reset and the next access to a minigame will be the Mill minigame.
3.8. Mixed
In certain bets, when the player on a winning line gets three sevens that are not the same color, they will access this feature.
This feature will give a random prize that depends on the bet.
- 20€ + 1 Bonus , this mini game cannot be accessed.
- 1€ + 5 Bonuses , this mini cannot be accessed
- 5€ + 25 Bonuses , this mini cannot be accessed
- 10€ + 50 Bonuses , random prize between 50€ and 1500€.
- 15€ + 75 Bonuses , random prize between 150€ and 5000€.
- €15 + 150 Bonuses , random prize between €150 and €10,000. The game will take place on the ALPHA DISPLAY.
In the bet-based profit plan, the player will be indicated which prizes they can qualify for. For example, if the player is unable to access the feature, this is an example of a bet.
Example bet that if you access the functionality
3.9. Cumulative
The accumulative consists of 8 pieces in the upper game that will be completed when the next figure is obtained on the reels of the upper game.
An example of a cumulative can be seen below:
When the cumulative game figure comes out we will have an increase of between 1 and 3.
The accumulator game is independent of the bet. Each bet has its own accumulator.
When the accumulator is complete, a "WINNING SPIN" label will appear. This will spin the reels and award a prize, with or without a mini-game. The prize will correspond to the bet that resulted in the accumulator.
3.10. Upper vertical lines
In the upper game we have a vertical line counter
This counter is shared with the lower game.
In the top game, each time the vertical lines symbol appears, the counter will increase by 1 to 5 (up to a maximum of 9).
When a higher stake is launched (regardless of the bet) this counter will decrease by one unit and the player will be eligible for 8 prize lines (5 fixed prize lines + 3 vertical lines).
3.11. Double or Bonuses
Prizes won in the upper game will be subject to the Double-Bonus game, regardless of whether the prize is direct (on any of the eight prize lines) or as a result of the additional games offered by the upper game.
In this game, the value of the prize won is divided into amounts based on the bet, and you can win double that amount or an equivalent amount of bonuses. At any point during the game, the player can decide to stand and keep the current prize amount.
The fractions that will be taken as reference are:
- €4 → €20 Bet + 1 Bonus
- €10 → €1 Bet + 5 Bonuses
- €50 → €5 Bet + €25 Bonuses
- €100 → €10 Bet + €50 Bonus
- €150 → €15 Bet + €75 Bonus
- €150 → €15 Bet + €150 Bonus
For each fraction of the prize, the player can decide whether to risk the prize by clicking PLAY/ACCUMULATE and obtain double the fraction with which he is playing or an equivalent amount of Bonuses or if he prefers not to risk it and collect the prize by clicking COLLECT and accumulating the prize in the balance counter.
If the player does not want to risk any of the fractions of their prize and wants to collect the entire prize, holding down the COLLECT button will allow them to collect their entire prize instead of in installments.
If the player wins the maximum prize for the selected bet, the prize will be transferred directly to the balance counter, and they will not be able to risk any portion of it. Similarly, if enough DOBLAs are won to reach the maximum prize for the selected bet, the game will end, and the remaining prize will be collected.
There is also a limit on the number of Bonuses a player can accumulate, in this case 5,000 Bonuses. If the player exceeds this amount of accumulated Bonuses, the Double-Up or Bonuses will not be allowed.
Self-Risk
The player has the option to activate the AUTO-RISK feature using the indicator light at the bottom of the screen. With the button activated (LIGHT IN GREEN), all prize fractions submitted to the Double Bonus game will automatically be risked and will never be transferred directly to the balance counter, unless the player achieves so many consecutive DOUBLES that they obtain the maximum prize bet, in which case the game will end and the remaining prize will be collected.
