5-reel 40-line slot

The objective of the Grand National: Sporting Legends™ slot is to obtain winning symbol combinations by spinning the reels.

To play the game:

The number of active paylines is permanently set at 40 in the main game.
In Free Games, the number of active paylines may be set at 40 or 50, depending on the horse race improvements awarded.
Any Free Game spin may also be evaluated with 1024 or 3125 ways to win, depending on the horse race improvements awarded.
The total bet is equal to 10x coin value. The total bet shows how much is being bet in total on a single spin.
On the entry screen, press the START button to start the game.
To open bet settings, press the coin button.
Press the + and - buttons to select a total bet.
Press the SPIN button to spin the reels with the current bet and press the button again during a spin to stop the reels.
In the case of a winning spin, the TOTAL WIN field displays the accumulated line or ways and Scatter winnings.
Wins are calculated according to the paytable.
For information on paylines, press i and scroll to Winning Bet Lines.
For information on Ways wins, select i and scroll to General Rules.
Press TURBO to enable/disable some of the win animations and sounds, making the reels spin faster or at normal speed.

Autoplay:

The reels spin automatically in autoplay.
To display the list of options, hold the spin button, select the number of spins to be played automatically, and then press ▶︎.
Autoplay can also be set to UNTIL FEATURE which will spin the reels until a feature is triggered.
During autoplay, the number of remaining spins is displayed.
Autoplay ends when:
- The reels have spun the number of times specified.
- You do not have sufficient funds for the next spin.
- A feature has been triggered.
You can end autoplay by pressing ◼︎.

Paytable:

To open the paytable, press i.
To navigate the paytable, use the scroll bar.
To close the paytable and return to the game, press X.

Paylines:

Active paylines are represented by symbol frames that appear over symbol positions on each reel as illustrated in the paytable.
Line wins can form on any payline and must appear on adjacent reels, from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Line wins are multiplied by your coin value.
On a given payline, only the highest winning combination pays while simultaneous winnings on different paylines are accumulated.

Ways:

Ways pays can only be active in Free Games.
Active ways wins are represented by symbol frames that appear over winning symbol positions.
Ways wins can form from matching symbols in any position on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, according to the paytable. Ways wins are multiplied by your coin value.
Only the longest winning combination per symbol is paid.

Maximum win limit:

The maximum win in the game has an upper limit. For more information, see the Terms and Conditions.

Wild symbol:

The Wild symbol can stand for any other symbol, except the Scatter symbol, to make the best possible winning combination.

Scatter Symbol:

3 or more Scatter symbols in any position trigger the Free Games Feature.

Wild Horses Feature:

During any main game spin, horses may gallop across the spinning reels, leaving up to 8 Wild symbols on the reels.
The added Wild symbols can contribute to the win evaluation.
If an added Wild symbol covers a Scatter symbol, the Scatter can still contribute to a feature trigger.

Free Games Feature:

When 3 or more Scatter symbols land simultaneously anywhere on the reels, the Free Games Feature is triggered.
6 Free Games are awarded initially.
At the beginning of the feature, there is a horse race.
The first 3 horses across the line will each award one of the 6 improvements available.
Possible improvements are:
- Random Wilds: Up to 3 random Wilds may land on the reels during any Free Games spin. These Wilds can contribute to line and ways wins.
- +5 Spins Added: 5 additional Free Games will be awarded.
- Ways: All symbols will be evaluated as ways pays instead of line pays.
- 3x Multiplier: A 3x multiplier will be applied to all line and ways wins.
- Sticky Wilds: Any Wild symbol that lands during the Free Games will remain for the duration of the Free Games.
- 5x Multiplier: A 5x multiplier will be applied to all line and ways wins.
- 5x5 Expansion: During Free Games, the reel array will expand to have 5 rows. If line pays are active, 50 lines will be evaluated. If ways pays are active, 3,125 ways will be evaluated.
- +8 Spins Added: 8 additional Free Games will be awarded.
- Expanding Wilds: Any Wild symbol that lands will expand to fill the reel it landed on.
- 2x Multiplier: A 2x multiplier will be applied to all line and ways wins.
- No Royals: There will be no Royal symbols (10, J, Q, K, A) on the Free Games reel strips.
- +3 Spins Added: 3 additional Free Games will be awarded.
During Free Games, 3 or more Scatter symbols landing simultaneously anywhere on the reels will award additional Free Games. The number of additional Free Games awarded will equal 6 plus any additional spins awarded by the horse race improvements at the beginning of the feature. The FREE GAMES IMPROVEMENTS round will not re-occur.
Free Games are played with the same bet that was placed on the spin that triggered them.

Daily Jackpot, Weekly Jackpot and Mega Jackpot

The Daily Jackpot ticker shows the value of the Daily Jackpot.
This jackpot is guaranteed to be won at least once during the time shown.
In the rare event that the jackpot is not triggered whilst bets contribute to it, the first bet or contribution in the following timed period is guaranteed to win the jackpot.
The central ticker shows the value of the Mega Jackpot.
The Weekly Jackpot ticker shows the value of the Weekly Jackpot.
This jackpot is guaranteed to be won at least once during the time shown.
In the rare event that the jackpot is not triggered whilst bets contribute to it, the first bet or contribution in the following timed period is guaranteed to win the jackpot.
Any bet of any size can win the Daily Jackpot, the Weekly Jackpot or the Mega Jackpot, but the larger a bet is the more likely it is to trigger 1 of these jackpots.
The jackpots are linked to several Sporting Legends™ Jackpot games, which are available through multiple casinos. The jackpots can be won by placing a bet in any of these games in any of the participating casinos.
For each bet placed, the operator contributes to the jackpot fund.
Each contribution is equal to 2.00% of each bet placed.
84.5% of each contribution funds the current jackpots, and 15.5% funds the seed pot for the next jackpots.
The seed pot funds the Daily Jackpot seed, the Weekly Jackpot seed and the Mega Jackpot seed.
(The seed is the amount of money a jackpot begins with.)
As the Daily Jackpot, the Weekly Jackpot and the Mega Jackpot are funded by the operator, these jackpots do not affect the RTP of the game.
Funds may sometimes be removed from the seed pot to fund other promotions.

If the current Daily Jackpot is won before 21:00 GMT (BST during British Summer Time), 1 or more additional jackpots may become available to win within the remaining time shown in the Daily Jackpot ticker.
If the current Weekly Jackpot is won before 12:00 p.m. GMT on Saturday (12:00 p.m. BST during British Summer Time), 1 or more additional jackpots may become available to win within the remaining time shown in the Weekly Jackpot ticker.
Note:
- If 2 players win a jackpot at the same time, the 1st player will be awarded the seed and the progressive amount, and the 2nd player will win the seed together with any accumulated progressive part accrued in the time between when the 1st player won the jackpot and when the 2nd player won the jackpot.

Return to Player:

The theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) is 94.85% that includes the Jackpot Contribution of 2.00%.

Note on disconnections:

If you are disconnected from the Internet during:
- A spin, the spin will be automatically completed, and any winnings will be added to your balance.
- A bonus feature or the triggering spin, you will be automatically directed to the feature after you reconnect.
- Autoplay, the spin will be automatically completed, but further spins will not automatically commence.
To see the outcome of your previous round after you log back into the portal, press the game history icon on the bottom toolbar.

Malfunction voids all pays and plays.
